Rhythm Tree 2017

Family friendly festival Rhythm tree is a family friendly music festival with over 70 acts performing over the weekend. This included headline acts from lightning seeds, blockheads and more. Not only that but you also get free parking, free camping plus children go free too! The festival is situated at three gates farm on the Isle of Wight. With the music acts spread over 4 stages  from mid day to evening , there's so much time to do stuff with the kids in between; face painting, rides, sand pit, Lego, messy play, carnival characters, the lady ship stage with children's entertainers dancing and signing, etc. It was our first festival together as a family, mine and Poppy's first ever festival! It was pretty special too as we also celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. There was a wide variety of food stalls, boutique clothing stalls, jewellery, costume, henna including a massage parlour! I must admit all the food from the festival l

Messy Play in the Kitchen

If there is one thing your not too sure on in parenthood its letting your little ones go crazy wrecking your home with pens, paint and glitter! Splat messy play classes allow them to do just that. Children aged 6 months-4 years are able to play, imagine, explore, investigate and build friendships. Poppy has been improving her social skills while enjoying wet and dry sensory activities. Nettie the host brings a different theme each week, with 6 stations full of fun and mess. This week we had flour, mash potatoes and beans, tomatoes, dry pasta and glitter play-dough. I really recommend doing this for your little ones, they have so much fun. It also relaxes Poppy, she is so content and calm while having fun with her little friends...also she's less likely to trash the house when we get back.  I hope you enjoyed the mess  Lots of love  Natasha  xXx
